A strut brace brings significantly more stability in the front shock absorber area for all vehicles and avoids distortion in the bodywork. In addition, the vehicle is more sprue and more direct in the steering. This improvement is already noticeable even when the Z1 is moved normally.
All struts are adapted by the manufacturer on each vehicle and then produced in series. You can order the strut in the versions 'Steel painted red' or 'Aluminum highly polished' from us. The struts themselves are very precisely made.
Unfortunately, this looks different with the Z1. By Tauchbadverzinkung the Rohkarossen these have partially warped something, which then had to be compensated during assembly of the vehicles. Due to the fact that the Z1 never came out of the small lot condition, this meant that the Z1 tolerated significantly larger tolerances than would have been ever accepted for mass-produced vehicles. Thus, it may happen that you need some strength and possibly a helper to get the strut braces over the existing threaded bolts on the cathedral camps. - But so far we have been able to assemble all struts.
