(Sorry, only G**gle-translation)
The H1 lamps are held in position by a spring on the headlight insert (low beam) of the Z1. Often the hooks for hanging the retaining spring are bent or already broken off, so that it is no longer possible to securely hang the spring. As soon as you try to bend a bent hook back into shape, it usually breaks off.
Since the reflector is not available individually as a spare part, you would now have to buy a complete support frame with both reflectors for around 416 euros (as of 08/2021).
This "replacement hook" is made of fine stainless steel using 3D printing and saves you this investment. In addition, it also enables the lamp to be changed quickly and easily in the future without the additional "fiddling" that other fastening methods entail.
With the help of this repair part, a bent or broken hook for the lamp retaining spring on the headlight of the low beam can be repaired.
The hook, printed from fine stainless steel, is simply pushed over the remainder of the original hook that is usually still present and glued with a high-temperature-resistant adhesive (e.g. JB Weld).
If the original hook broke off directly at the base, with a little manual skill you can certainly attach the new hook to the base with an M3 screw and a nut,
The matching repair kit for the holder of the spring will be added to the shop shortly, as will the glue from JB Weld. Both can already be requested using the contact form.
